Our History
George Seidel founded Trausch Insurance Agency after the First World War. It offered a service to the legal profession on all court-related bonds with a concentration in the field of Probate.
As business Flourished, Charles Novak was added as a junior partner after the Second World War. Upon George Seidel’s retirement in 1967, Lawrence F. Trausch was added to the business. Lawrence Trausch then passed on the business to his son-in-law Stephen Conlon.
Meet Stephen Conlon
I am an Insurance agent and the owner and operator of Trausch Insurance Agency. I have worked with the legal community for 23 years and have experience issuing all types of surety bonds, especially court-related bonds. Trausch Insurance Agency prides itself in providing information and service for all surety bond-related needs for the entire state of Illinois.
Stephen was born in Belfast, Ireland, in 1967. He moved to the United States with his family when he was 14 years old and has lived in the Chicagoland area ever since. Stephen is a family man with a wife and three kids. He joined Trausch Insurance in 1997.
